Cotton night suits for women
Cotton night suits for women, woven from long-thread fibres and washed before stitching so they sit soft from the first wear. Breathable through warm Indian summers, considered enough for the slowest mornings.
We're restocking this edit. In the meantime, the main nightwear edit holds the closest pieces.
Notes from the maison
We're particular about cotton. The wrong cotton pills, holds heat, loses shape after three washes. The right cotton softens, breathes, and starts to feel like your own skin somewhere around the fifth wear. Antimony's pure-cotton night suits are graded for the second, fabric we'd be happy to live in ourselves.
Questions, considered
- Why pure cotton over a blend?
- Cotton breathes. Blends with polyester or rayon trap heat, which matters more than people admit in Indian summers. We use cotton-dominant weaves so the fabric stays cool against skin even on warm nights.
- Will the cotton shrink?
- A small first wash settle (under 2%) is normal. We pre-wash the fabric before stitching to minimise it, and the size guide accounts for the final settled measurement.
- Soft cotton vs pure cotton, what is the difference?
- Pure cotton refers to the fibre content (100% cotton). Soft cotton describes the finish, typically a lighter, more breathable cotton we use for warm-weather sets. Both are on the product page and both are 100% cotton.
- Can I machine wash cotton night suits?
- Yes. Cold cycle, gentle setting, line dry in shade. Cool iron on the reverse if needed. The fabric softens beautifully over the first few washes.
